Though Jevne "JR" Sweeney became an unofficial New Yorker years ago, Columbia, MD is the hometown she claims.  Born and raised in the dirty south before that (Louisiana and North Carolina respectively), she has been a lover of dance and all things that light people up her entire life.  She performed and toured with her HS Dance Company which included a showcase at Disney World; and was a Dance Minor at Radford University where she earned her BA in Media.  She devoted the majority of her time here in NYC to her other passion, soccer, where she played for the New York Athletic Club's Nationally ranked Semi-Pro team.  Having recently left the Hedge Fund world, Jevne is now ready to devote more time into her FIRST love, and she has never been more thankful to have all of her passions collide at a place where dance is the excuse, shame-free is the belief, and FTC is the way of life!
